What we collect
When you send a form on this website we collect:
- your name and the phone number or email address you give for our reply
- the property postcode, property type and access notes
- the description of the job and any photos you upload
- whether you are an owner, landlord, letting agent or business
If you send details of a tenant or another person, such as a name for access, please tell them you have done so.
How we use it
We use these details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out the work, and invoice for it. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. We keep records needed for tax and accounting because the law requires it.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you agree to it separately.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run this website and our enquiry system: Cloudflare, which hosts the website, and Reformat Studio, which provides the website and the enquiry inbox. They handle the data only on our instructions.
We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Records of work carried out and invoices are kept for six years for tax purposes.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. You can also object to how we use it.
To make a request, use the form on our Request a quote page and write "Privacy request" at the start of the description. We reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first through the same form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
