Drain jetting in South and West Wales
High-pressure water jetting to wash grease, silt, scale and roots out of drains at homes, cafés, shops, yards and car parks.

What jetting clears
A hose with a jetting nozzle is fed into the pipe from a manhole or gully. Water fired backwards from the nozzle pulls it along and scours the pipe wall.
Grease and food waste
Fat that has set in kitchen waste pipes at cafés, takeaways, pubs and canteens.
Silt and grit
Soil, grit and leaves washed into yard drains, car park gullies and soakaway inlets.
Scale
Hard deposits that narrow toilet runs in older buildings.
Light root growth
Fine roots that have come in through joints. Heavier roots are cut out with a root-cutting head.
Before a camera survey
Pipes cleaned so the survey camera has a clear view of the pipe wall.
After a blockage
The full length washed through once a blockage has been cleared.
Jetting for business premises
Kitchens that cook with oil send fat down the waste pipe every day, and it sets as it cools. Jetting washes the set fat off the pipe wall before it builds up into a blockage.
Yards and car parks collect grit and leaves in their gullies, and water stands on the surface when they fill. These are usually jetted after autumn leaf fall.
Older and damaged pipes
Clay pipes in older terraces can be cracked or have open joints. The water pressure is set to suit the pipe, and where a pipe looks badly damaged we recommend a camera survey before jetting it.
Loosened silt and debris are washed on through the drain to the sewer. Nothing is taken away from the site.
What we need to price jetting
- Type of premises. House, café, shop, yard or car park.
- Which drains. The kitchen waste, a toilet run, gullies, or the whole system.
- Manholes and gullies. Where they are and whether the covers lift.
- Parking and hours. Where a van can park and when the premises are closed.
Questions about drain jetting
Is jetting the same as unblocking?
Jetting is one way of clearing a blockage. It is also used on drains that still flow, to wash out the build-up that causes blockages.
Can you jet outside opening hours?
Yes. We work seven days a week, so kitchens and shops can be jetted while they are closed.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length of drain and how much has built up. The quote gives an estimated time on site.
